U16 win by default

U16 won their match not the way they wanted to but Rhodes Hall inability to show for the game allowed Belair to amass a 20-0 default win.

Under 19's relentless win above all odds 77-56!!

The boys started their Under-19 KFC/ISSA National High School Basketball play-offs with a relentless win over Cornwall College at the Montego Bay Cricket Club, 77-56 win over the Western Conference Champions

Our third-placed team (echoed by fans from the St James team)  trailed by four points early but rallied after a few questionable calls from the referees.

Belair managed to tie the scores at 15-15 early in the second quarter, then went up 21-17 with three minutes 33 seconds to go before leading by two 23-21 at the half.

In the third quarter Belair trumped Cornwall by 10 points (25-10) and then by nine points in a high scoring fourth quarter. Belair rattled off 19 points over the last four-and-half-minutes of the game.

It was a well played mental game by the team.

Shelmar Bromfield 24 points 14 rebounds

Taniel Reynlolds 17 points  26 rebounds

Nicholas Maitland scored 16 points

Agassi Royal scored 8 points 16 rebounds.
